Helena In June

This is my favorite month of the year!

Helena In June

The clouds are lifting,
look at the green.
A beautiful vision,
so fresh and serene.

The sun is shining
on the peaks capped with snow.
The Big Belts and Elkhorns
are starting to glow.

Deep in the valley
the lilacs are blooming,
The busy honey bees
begin buzzing and zooming.

The RV's and boats
emerge with fresh loads,
of supplies and people
as they take to the roads.

The birds fill the trees,
chirping and singing.
The tour train goes by,
it's bell sweetly singing.

From the crack of the dawn
to the full of the moon,
this whole gorgeous day
is simply, Helena in June.
